Report of Pasarela SS16 in MBFWA

blank

The 23rd edition ofMercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdamit is a summary and that means that the complete report of the Pasarela SS16 can be given in MBFWA. I visited seven shows & I loved each of the collections in a different way. To share my thoughts with you, I’ve selected several images of my favorite pieces from each of the Fashion Designers. If you look at the photos, we can conclude that SS16 will be all about metallics, graphic designs, floral prints, ruffles, meshes and cutouts, all completed with a large backpack or, on the contrary, a simple Black Clutch. So take a look for yourself: scroll slow & amp; have fun;)!

Monique Collignon

The Classic, sexy and super feminine silhouettes decorated with embroidery, sparkles and lots of ruffles made the whole crowd tremble with excitement. After seeing this Haute Couture Fashion show, I am officially a Collignon woman.

Noir Near Future

This show, Anxiety Fantasies, began with plain black suits with the white words “anxiety” printed on them. Bregje Cox, who was probably inspired by technology, wowed the audience halfway through the show when the models walked in weaRing lightweight dresses in exotic colors with a 1940s feel and graphic, futuristic shapes with small mirrors on top, coats and in the (big) backpacks.

Lighting 2015

Fourteen students competed to be the winner of Lighting 2015 and after each showing five pieces on the Catwalk, the international and national jury decided that Nikki Duijst would be number 1. Her silhouettes hint at the influence of an interplay between femininity, seclusion. and expose yourself. What do you think of her collection “While we search for our face”?

Maria Cle Leal

Maria Cle Leal’s show was called Fragile and was enriched by the appearance of Mr & Mrs Doutzen Kroes as well as Naiara Rojo’s beautiful ballet movements. She continued to dance among the walking models showing off the SS16 collection, made up of woolen creations in bright fuchsia, black and cream. The only accessory that should be added to this type of dress is a black Clutch. The show ended with light blue dresses in the floral print of fine material that floated in the air.
